Meet me at The Well
I don't know about you, but I have struggled throughout my life to find good, solid, uplifting friendships. I would always dream of having girls nights or having deep conversations with close friends or even getting together for a bible study, yet often I would find myself alone in my bedroom. Even today I find myself seeking solitude, which is totally okay, but at the same time we need community. Jesus built His following with a strong community of everyday people. Jesus actually wants us to have friends! He wants us to pursue relationship, so that we can band together for His sake. As cliche as it sounds, we are stronger together. It is much easier to handle our issues if we have someone in our corner. So if you are in need of a friend, let me be that for you. You don't have to do this life alone. There are people out there in this world who are ready to cheer you on, push you to pursue your dreams, and help you to be a better you.
This week’s featured creative is Hanha. She is a 23 year old from North Carolina and she graduated college at UNC-Chapel Hill. (“GO HEELS!”, she says.) She currently works at a nonprofit, but she is applying to medical school also. She says her plan is to become a physician AND the next Joyce Meyer. She plans to combine ministry and medicine to fulfill God’s calling in her life. Hanha blogs over at www.cleartransparency.com, where she shares her faith. She also created #TheConfessionsProject, which is a movement to help believers declare God’s promises over their lives. Hanha prays that her blog and #TheConfessionsProject are ways for others to not only know who God is, but also know who God is in them.
