My name is Kelsea and I'm the voice behind The Well. Life can be a crazy thing and at times it can be difficult to navigate. I have found that we all need encouragement and we are all looking for hope. The cool thing is that Jesus is that hope that we need! So whether you are looking for friendship, encouragement, wisdom, love, a sense of belonging, or extra Jesus you are in the right place.

About me...
First, I love Jesus. He is the reason for this blog and I only hope that I can be a light for Him. I am married to my best friend, Jarin. He takes such great care of me. God really blessed me with him. My family can be a bit crazy, but I definitely wouldn't be here without them. I recently graduated college with my BA in psychology from Oral Roberts University. Woot Woot!

A few things I love are McAlister's sweet tea, sunsets, hiking, Netflix (Grey's Anatomy), and Jesus jams (AKA worship music).

Thanks for stopping by! I would love to hear from you, so shoot me an email or follow me on social media!

The Well Story

I decided to start The Well, because I felt a pull from God to provide encouragement and be a light for Him. One of my favorite stories from the Bible is the woman at the well, found in John 4. The story tells of a Samaritan woman whom Jesus talks with at the well. Now this wouldn't be such a big deal, except that 1. Jews and Samaritans did not associate and 2. this woman was an outcast by her own people. Even so, Jesus took the time to meet this woman at the well, get on her level, and show her grace. In doing this, this woman received hope (living water) from Jesus and she proceeded to share it with others. Community is created where brokenness and hope meet.

Similarly, The Well is meant to do just that. Provide encouragement, hope, and love to the broken. If we're being honest we're all a little broken. We all need someone to be by our side, give us wisdom, and push us to be better. Let's remember to be a vessel of Jesus to those in need.
